Elijah Clark State Park is named for a frontiersman and Georgia war hero who led pioneers during the Revolutionary War. A log cabin replica of the Clark home displays furniture, utensils and tools circa 1780 and is open weekends April through November. Visitors can also view the graves of Clark and his wife, Hannah.

Elijah Clark State Park campground has 172 single family campsites and is located on the western shore of Clarks Hills Lake on the Georgia-South Carolina border. There are also 20 cottages, 10 walk-ton sites and group camping available. Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. There are 160 sites with electric hookups.
